Paris, kids and Navigo Decouverte

Hello, soon I'll visit Paris for 8 days (sunday to monday) with my family. We are 4 with two kids, 8 and almost 4 years old. We are planning to hit Versailles and one day at Disneyland. Is it ok to go with the Navigo Decouverte?
I've been thinking a lot about the possible rides in Metro and I'm pretty sure that they will be a lot.
I've read that Rick and several others here prefer a carnet but the ND will allow us to travel without problems anytime. Is this right?
3 ND and nothing for the youngest (free ride because of age).
Any help will be appreciated.

Edu

PS: excuse my grammar. English is my second language.

Eduarizaga,

The Navigo découverte pass is a great investment especially since you can use it to travel to both Disneyland and Versailles. The ND pass is good from Monday to Sunday, so you may need to buy a carnet to use on the Sunday when you arrive & on Monday when you depart.

You can read about the Navigo découverte weekly pass here: Parisbytrain.com

You don't need a high quality photo, I just scanned our passport photo, & made it smaller, then printed it on regular paper and cut it to size (3cmx 2.5cm).

Have a wonderful trip!

Edit to add...

Edu, no hay necesidad de disculparte, tu Inglés es increíble! ;-)

3ND far and away the best for you. This is an incredibly cheap pass and if it includes trips from or to the airport, Disney or Versailles it soon pays for itself. With a family of four I would take a cab to and from the airport . It is only 50/55 for 4 and luggage. (it will cost 7 extra to reserve a day ahead for trip back to airport. Well worth it.

Rick's advice that the carnet is often better was made before the Navigo Decouverte started covering all zones. So, before this change, you had to buy separate RER tickets for Disneyland and for Versailles. Now that these are covered, it makes the ND a better deal than before.
