Paris - Invaders Street Mosaics Gone?

Hello, everyone!

This will be my first time in Paris and I wanted to find the pixelated mosaics done by the street artist Invader. I've figured out where a couple of them should be BUT... When I look at a street view on Google Maps some of them are no longer there. I know this is not a mistake in locating them because if I select an earlier date in Google (say 2016), the space invaders are there. Yet if I chose the most current street view they are gone.

Have these been taken down by the city? Does anyone have any updated information about these?

There is one I especially wanted to photograph - a pixelated Mona Lisa near Duluc Detective on the Rue de Louvre. I'd hate to trek all over Paris just to come up empty-handed.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Raechelle

June 2018 there was a simple Invader piece outside the entrance of the d’Orsay museum.

There are still Space Invaders ALL OVER the place. Fun to see, and very creative in some places. I think the guy even has a game where you get points if you take a photo of one and it matches up or whatever.

We noticed that many seemed to have disappeared that we had seen earlier when we were in Paris last May. I still see them but many are gone. It was a 'thing' for awhile but is now passe. Lots of new building mural art though all over the city but particularly between the Nationale and Cheverolet stops on the metro 6 line.

Lol! Passé. Oh, well! I will try to get on the next bandwagon faster.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Much appreciated.
