Paris in the Winter - Hotel Suggestions?

Husband & I will arriving in a few weeks for just a two nights. Previously stayed with girlfriends in St. Germain in an airbnb BUT for a whole week. Looking for a central hotel with nice bar to enjoy fruits of France, 24 hour lobby, cozy beds, great restaurants close! Any ideas?? We will be going to The Eiffel, Champs Elysees, Louvre & Notre Dame. Marais seems out of the way, Rue Cler seems a little quiet and more of a summer location, small hotels not impressive. Liked St. Germain last time very much but wondering if I should consider else this time. #wanthusbandtoloveParis Has anyone stayed at The Westin? Thanks in advance!

Have you considered staying in the very heart of Paris on Ile St. Louis? Many people assume the rates will be out the roof. There are times, and yours may be one, that the rates are very comparable with other parts of the city. We've stayed at Hotel des Deux-Iles and will probably stay there again. It is a quiet place with friendly and helpful front desk personnel. Very well located -- cross the river one way and you will be in the Marais -- cross it the other way and you'll be in The Latin Quarter. Email them directly with a request for rates, booking, and such you'll probably get a quote within 24 hours. We did not eat breakfast there as it seemed a bit expensive for what was offered. No bar on premise, but plenty of them and many good restaurants are close by.

If they don't have anything available, they have a sister hotel a few doors away named Hotel de Lutece. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there based on our experience at Hotel des Deux-Iles .

Another hotel on the island is Hôtel Saint-Louis en l´Isle, but we haven't stayed there. I think they have a dedicated shuttle that will pick you up at the airport, but I'm not sure what the charge is. Of course the taxis into the city from the airport are now a flat rate price so that may be the way to go.

If you decide to stay on the island we can tell you about a local place where you can get a great little breakfast for a good price and a few places for other meals.

It will only take a few minutes to check out the pricing and see what you think.

The Hotel Saint-Louis-en-isle was renovated about 2 years ago.
I've stayed there when I painted my apartment, and it was exceptionally nice.
55 EU for 2 passengers, no luggage fees and you might tip 1 or 2 EU.

If budget allows, consider Luxembourg Parc. This is a perfect hotel for a couple and excellent location.
The bar is small but you are walking distance to Closerie des Lilas, a "must do" for a drink.
Check out the history of the bar and surprise your husband with a visit. The food is very good in the adjoining restaurant.

I'm staying at Hotel Saint Paul Rive Gauche this week, I'll let you know how it goes!

I am a fan of Henri IV Rive Gauche; the location is great for such a short visit. Near the river and Notre Dame. Just steer clear of the nearby Rue Huchette tourist trap restaurant street for meals. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Thanks for all of your suggestions! I'll let you know where we decide to stay... if you have any suggestions on cafe's, restaurants, chocolates, champagnes macaroons, etc... please let me know. Looks like we are going to stay in the 6th or 7th.

The hotels mentioned on Ile St Louis do not have bars. I’d check booking.com or hotels.com where you can filter for the amenities you’d like. Then read the reviews. I’d recommend anywhere from the 1st to the 6th, as close to the river as possible.
