Paris in October, choir and organs for Notre Dame?

We are visiting Paris mid-October. We arrive on a Thursday, leave on Sunday. We are Catholic catechumens, and would love to attend mass at Notre Dame. Our parish does not have an organ nor a large choir. We would love to see/hear this on our visit. Even if it isn't a mass time. Please advise us what day/time this occurs (if it does). If it doesn't happen at Notre Dame, where else does it?

Hello,

Here's the schedule for Masses at Notre Dame with the music planned for each Sunday
https://musique-sacree-notredamedeparis.fr/en/categorie/liturgy/2024-2025/

We attended a Mass while the choir was still in their temporary space (December 2023). It was a highlight of our trip.

You can email them if you have any additional questions. They will reply in English (or you can translate your email with Google if need be).
I hope to return now that Notre Dame has reopened.

Notre Dame de Paris also has Tuesday evening concerts. I’ll be attending in September and they continue in October.

Perhaps share your plans with your OCIA sponsor who may be able to add readings to help you get the most from your visit.

During my April trip I visited Notre Dame several times including Sunday Vespers and the Veneration of the Crown of Thorns.

If you attend, the queue for services is to the right of the entrance. There will be a staff member monitoring the line.

My daughter’s high school choir may be performing there in March, 2026 under the assumption that they are able to resume lay performances there in 2026 as planned. I cannot wait!
