Paris in mid-July

I am planning a trip to Paris July 12-27. Does it get scorchingly hot or do we still need to pack some light sweaters/jackets? We are from South Florida and our Julys are scorchers.

I've been in Paris in both June and July in recent years and it's been very warm. Be aware that not all hotels will have A/C if that's important to you. Obviously check the weather forecast just before your trip and you may still want to pack 1 light jacket or sweater, if for no other reason than sometimes the planes are cold. But you will definitely need a hat and lightweight clothing.

I've visited Paris, in July, every year for the past 4 years. It has been hot (high 80's/low 90's) with one year being oppressively hot (103+). But as you are coming from Florida you will probably find the temps just fine and there isn't the humidy of FL summers. Personally, I never needed a jacket or light sweater. And something to note, AC is not plentiful in restaurants or boutique shops. Even if the establishment has AC, it's usually not on very high. Exceptions would be the big stores/malls (Samaritaine, Galleries Lafayette, etc.) Enjoy your trip!

You most likely will have to put up with the weather if that is a concern. Expect Paris in July to be very warm or a scorcher, sometimes with oppressive heat. I'll be back in France in July, Paris included.
