We are currently looking to travel to Paris for five days during the last week of February and first of March. Are there attractions closed during the late winter/early spring time? Any other important information or tricks we should be aware of during that time of year?
I was just in Paris for almost the same days you mention — we flew out from the US late on 2/28 and arrived on 3/1. I noticed nothing closed in the city except the summer carnival and things like Paris plage. Now, if you plan a day trip, there might be places that are closed such as for example, Monet’s Gardens.
I was in Paris once mid January. There really wasn't anything closed. Hours at some places were shorter. We did a tour to the top of the Notre Dame that was closed a couple times due to chilly weather, like 25 degrees Fahrenheit (Which as Minnesotans made us laugh)
Great! Thanks for the answer.
As we are from QC, Canada, we can’t say we’re afraid of a 25F temperature either! ;)
