Paris in June - Will there be Olympics Prep closures?

Hi! I'm visiting Paris the first week of June, and as I know many famous sites are being transformed into venues for the games in July, I'm wondering if there is any info out there about when places like Trocadero, Tuilleries, Champs de Mars, Grand Palais, or the Seine banks will close down to create the stadiums and such. It doesn't seem like the Olympics official site has any info about that. Thanks!

We will be there June 6-9 and are also wondering if there will be changes. Maybe there will be some new things to see? I hope they are able to get the Seine swimmable!

No info on how far ahead the prep will cause an affect on tourists places, but just saw a news report that instead of the 600,000 riverside tickets that were to be available to the general public for the opening ceremony, it has been reduced to 300,000 'by invitation only' tickets.

I think 'expect the unexpected' and a lot of last minute scrambling may be the order of the day ( or days), leading up to the start will be a helpful mindset. Being as flexible as Gumby, won't hurt either.
Good luck

you should start watching the vlogs of Jay Swanson, the other day he was at the Arc marveling at the changes they're making and how they are taking lanes away in the Etoile. He also mentioned that some of the Olympic changes will become permanent, like possibly the Place Concorde going carless.

The news came out yesterday. I will try to post details later today if someone else doesn't get to it first.

I am in Arles for the moment but I thought I read last week that preparations are already underway for temporary stands, venue prep, etc. So it's not just a case of a week before the Olympics or a week after the power Olympic Games, it is apparently starting now and we'll go until at least October.
