We are planning to do the Paris Illumination tour. I see quite a few companies for options. Any suggestions ? We will be in the Champ Elleyes area so a starting stop from there would be perfect.
I am leaning towards Big Bus tour - how do you make sure you get the top open view ? The tickets do not have a choice to select that. Do they have limited buses or one fills up then next one will show up ?
We met a cab driver there who took us for a 2 hour personal tour of Paris landmarks at night and let us stop at each to take pictures for 50 euro total. Gave him a tip as well. He was so nice, spoke English and gave us so much info about France and all landmarks. Also let us drink wine or whatever in the back seat. If interested, I have his name and phone number. We saw: Eiffle, Louvre, Pantheon, City Hall, Champ Elysee, Moulin Rouge, Nortre Dame, Opera House, Parliament, Sacre Cour etc. He even got out and would take our picture for us. Best night in Paris for us!
