Paris Hotels with king beds, air conditioned near attractions . View of Eiffel Tower or Notre Dame

We will be in Paris in Aug. 2025 and will also visit Bayeux. Any suggestions of where to stay. We want to visit the Louvre, rue Clar, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame. Suggestions? Want to try to walk. We will be there Aug,20-22 and back to Paris the 26-28. We could stay at two different hotels. Maybe one closer to the Eiffel Tower and one closer to the Louvre or Notre Dame.

You will probably find one along the Champs Elysée. It'll cost you though, and it won't have a view of either of the places you mention.

Booking.com offers "king bed" and "air conditioning" as search filters. I would start there. If you see something you like, you can run a search for it here to see if anyone has an opinion about it. Be sure to check the photos to try and determine whether it's really a king bed or two twins pushed together.

We've stayed at the Canopy by Hilton Trocadero in Paris a number of times. They have king bed rooms and air conditioning. Their roof top deck has an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower, which is just across the Seine from the hotel. Maybe that will fit your needs?

the way to get a king bed is to do it by measurement. A 'double'. is 140 cm, a queen is 160 and a king is 180. It is common to put two singles together to make a double and those work for us at king beds. If we can't get a measurement we book a twin room. After I booked a place with a bed about 45 inches wide in Granada (but with a huge private terrace overlooking the Alhambra) my husband is now clear about nothing less than 'queen' size. Ask the hotel if you have doubts for the bed width. As in America the standard now tends to be larger beds -- but traditional hotels still have tiny tiny doubles sometimes.

I once booked a place in Amsterdam with a 'queen bed' -- it turns out there is actually a british bed size called 'queen' that is actually a large single and that is what he had - that was swell. I ended up on the couch. Queen and King are not European bed sizes thus sticking with measurements when in doubt.

What is your budget? The palace hotels like Le Meurice have king size beds and views and Le Meurice is within walking distance of the Louvre. If you can skip the view, take a look at Hotel Louvre Richelieu which has a king bed in the deluxe room.

Relais Bosquet - we have stayed there twice, it is close to the ET. I think they have some king-sized beds, but it's been a few years since we were there. A California king bed is 72 inches / 182 cm. A lovely hotel, friendly people running the place.

Another super vote for the Canopy by Hilton. Super king sized bed good AC and free breakfast buffet. Absolutely loved the location a half block from the ET and sitting on the roof top with a view of the tower with glass of wine was magical. The bar was closed up there but you are allowed to buy a glass in their bar and take it up with you. We were there in October and going back again this October.

You could try this hotel - https://www.hotel-duquesne-eiffel-paris.com/ .

I don't know what size the beds are, but I stayed in two different rooms and they seemed large to me. Assuming nothing has changed, I would highly recommend the hotel. You may have to specifically request a room that faces the Eiffel Tower.

Offering suggestions, without a working budget window in euros, is counterproductive. I can think of any number of hotels meeting your requirements. Le Meurice, already mentioned, is certainly one, but there is no point in making a list unless the hotels on the list will be seriously considered.
