Paris Hotels Topic and Hotels in Florence/Rome

I have been following the topic for Paris hotels in April and have checked out all of the recommendations so far, since my daughter and son-in-law are going in September. So far I have seen very little that she is looking for. Most look very nice, but she is looking for something that is around 300 euros per night, VERY clean, some Parisian charm, and of course fairly centrally located so they can walk to most sites. She is also looking for something similar for 3 nights in Florence and 4-5 nights in Rome. Anyone have any suggestions other than the ones already listed in the earlier topic? I've received a lot of help from those following this forum and hopefully she will as well. Also, anyone have any comments on Hotel Lutece on Ile Saint Louis in Paris?
Thanks in advance.

300 euros per night is a very healthy budget. Your daughter-in-law should have no problem find a hotel that meets her needs. In case she or you do not know, September is peak season in Paris. My family goes to Paris 2 or 3 times per year and we do not rent apartments so we have been to a lot of hotels. Here is a list of well located places that I or members of my family have been to or stayed in over the years in Paris. These places are all charming and have IMO excellent staff and are well located and certainly quite clean. We don't stay in places that are not clean so here goes:

We have also like Artus Hotel and Hotel Atmosphere but IMO they are more modern and not heavy on Parisian charm (if by Parisian charm, she means less modern decor).
