Paris Hotels- seeking advice for 6th or 7th Arrondissement area during week prior to Easter

Have been looking at hotels (particularly those listed in Rick Steves Paris 2024 book) for overnights during the week preceding Easter 2025. They are unbelievably expensive since our trip there in 2019.

Looking for suggestions in the 6th or 7th (Rive Gauche) Arrondissement areas. Hoping for slightly larger and less expensive room that accommodates three people.

Thanks for your help!

It’s technically in the 15th and to be honest I’m not sure it has a room that sleeps three but I’ve had a very nice stay at Hotel Lilas Blanc. it’s just over the border from the 7th and very close to a metro station. I find that you do get more for your money just crossing the road to the double digit arrondismonts

Three people is harder. My go-to hotels in the 7th are Hotel Muguet and Hotel Relais Bosquet but I don't know what the situation is for a room for 3. I also go to Hotel Beaugency but have not been there in a few years and it needed some cosmetic reno last time I was there. It's the least expensive of the 3 and does have a 3-person room on the top floor.

And yes, prices have gone up a lot since 2019. I was back in 2021 and prices were higher and then this year there was a huge hike for the Olympics and while they have come down some for October they are not down to the pre-Olympic level.

Pam and I think alike! We use the same hotels she mentioned. I love the Relais Bosquet. And we recently did stay at the Beauregency and while a tad tired, it suited us just fine. Both are only a half block off Rue Cler.

I agree with Carol RE the 15th, we visit Paris often, and we have been staying at hotels in the 15th for the last 8 years, much more bang for your buck, and to boot we really like the 15th, too (less touristy, more of a local feel, but easy access via Metro to wherever you want to go).

In fact, we leave for Paris in 2 weeks, and will be in the 15th once again.

Apart-hotel, also in the 6th, great location, near Odeon metro: https://www.leprinceregent.com/

Have you tried looking at apartments? You'll get all sorts of cautions about making sure they're legal rentals, but given how difficult it can be finding rooms for three, apartments are a fantastic option, and there are tons of legal ones.
