My husband, daughter (22y/o) and I will be ending our RS Best of Europe in 14 Days 2023 tour in Paris at the Hotel Tilsitt Etoile. We plan on staying for an additional 3-4 nights but this hotel is rather expensive ( $441.00 night) for a quad room ( no triple rooms found). We just need 3 beds and one room. We plan on going to the Eiffel tower, Versailles and doing some shopping. Any suggestions for less expensive hotels that are centrally located? No youth hostiles, and no sharing of bathroom please. No more than $300 a night would be preferred. Thank you!
When are you going? Time of year makes a difference in room rates. Take a look at https://www.paris-hotel-des-nations-st-germain.com/ but the triple that i saw has one bed for two people and a single bed. I'm not sure if they can do the 3 single bed configuration but you could check. Another decent triple is at https://www.mayet.com/ (2-bed configuration). You could probably get two separate rooms at Nations Saint Germain for just around $300 per night.
Is there a handicap involved? If not why not get two inexpensive rooms in a modest hotel and have more privacy and two bathrooms?
Good questions.
Good suggestions all. Thank you!
Try the Hotel des Deux Continents in the 6th. So close to everything. My French tutor recommended it to us and we’ve stayed there twice now. Visit the Gien store just down the street!
