Paris hotels

I'm not sure what price range you are thinking for "moderate". Two of my go-tos in the 7th are Hotel Muguet and Hotel Relais Bosquet. Hotel l'Empereur is also good. I've stayed at Hotel Beaugency many times but last time in Spring 2022 it desperately needed some cosmetic reno.

It may depend on what you can find at this date, though.

Clean, charming rooms, close to multiple transit options and walkable to many sights and myriad restaurants. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was well-priced and plentiful.

Just spent 5 nights at Hotel Relais Bosquet. Staff was great, location was perfect, close to metro. Breakfast included when I mentioned Rick Steves.

My wife and I really enjoyed the Belloy Hotel St. Germain. Great location, wonderful morning breakfast, nice rooms.

We spent 6 nights in September at this gem and I'm going back for another 5 later this month.
The HOTEL SIGNATURE Saint-Germain-des-Prés was recommended by someone on this site.
The hotel is lovely and the service is friendly.

I love the Signature Saint Germain. In my opinion, it and its sister hotel, the Hotel Londres Eiffel, are wonderful properties in the 6th and 7th, respectively.

Another vote for Relais Bosquet. We have stayed at many properties, but this place is like home to us. Wonderful place.
