Paris hotels--1st, 3rd&4th, 6th

Hi, we've booked Hotel La Perle, but are having second thoughts. We're looking for a triple, either in the 1st, Le Marais or St Germain des Prés areas; this is our first trip to Paris. My mom really loves an excellent breakfast in the hotel. Our budget is in the 300-600 range. Preferably close to a square or a park or an area with a few shops or cafes. Some of the options we've seen: Hotel d'Orsay-Esprit de France, Hotel Manzart Esprit de France, Hotel Luxembourg Parc, Hotel des grand voyagers.

Any recommendations for our first time in Paris?

Sounds like you've done your research. Go for it. Only you know your tastes and where you want to stay and why you want to stay.

Hotel Luxembourg Parc, all day any day.

they're in a small hotel group, you might check out their sister properties.

I love the St Germain area for accommodations. Our first stay in Paris 37 years ago was in the 1st and it is nice, but we gravitate towards the border of the 6th & 7th. I would like to try the Hotel des Marrioners next time, but based on the hotels you mention, I think the rooms would be too small and boutiquey.
