This will be our second trip to Paris but first with our teens. Our time in Paris is only a few days as we have other plans in other areas of France. For this trip we prefer to stay in the 1st or 4th arrodisment. We are looking for lodging that may have family suites to accommodate 4 people and a/c is a big plus. Appreciate any suggestions!
I'm assuming you'll be in Paris in the summer? During the Olympics? A/C isn't common in hotels or Airbnbs/VRBOs. I have a property manager who is a superhost on Airbnb. I have his email if you'd like it. Maybe he can help.
I would suggest using a site like Booking.com to enter your dates and parameters. But I’d also suggest that you widen your search to include other areas of Paris. It’s late in the game to be finding a family room for the summer, especially one with a/c. Once you’ve narrowed it dow, come back your for input on the hotels you’ve found.
I’d add one specific suggestion for you though. Hotel Malte in the 2nd arrondissement.
Hotel La Tamise has family suites. The hotel is located in the 1st arrondissement and more importantly is a great hotel. You don’t mention your budget but I’ll mention that the suites start at 480€ per night. The set up is two rooms connected by a private entrance so you have two bathrooms.

Thank you for all the responses. After a further deep dive, I was able to make a reservation at Hotel Louvre Saint Honore for a junior suite that accommodates 4. And it seems to have a great location in the 1st and the needed a/c for my husband!
