Paris hotel recommedation

Will be in Paris 2 or 3 nights in late Sept. Any recommendations for a hotel that cost around 175 Euros per night for two people? Thanks

Tc you are trying to get a rather last minute booking for that time frame, hotel occupancy is at a high then, not just tourists, but a lot of busi ESS,trade show and fashion industry folks fill hotels at that time. So I think you will have to hurry, we can suggest hotels, but most that are in central areas may be full, and rates will be highest .

Try Hotel Le Regent on Rue Dauphin, I quite liked it, location is excellanf, but I worry rates may be high( I stayed there in an august visit, when there was a lower rate special.)

A good budget pick would be Hotel Diana, we liked it, had nice room ,but it is well known so may be full.

Hotwire and booking.com as well as Venere may be a good place to start looking too. Get a few with available rooms and then if you like, come back here and we can tell you about areas they are in etc to help you narrow down choice.

My suggestion would be to get a refundable reservation right away using booking.com or venere.com or the like so you have somewhere booked for the time you need and then fine-tune with people's comments to find something better.

Look at Hotel Eugenie. I have never stayed there but a friend stayed there on her first trip to Paris a couple of years ago and liked it. It should be below you budget. Slightly above your budget (I think) is Hotel Abbatial Saint Germain. Rooms are small but the location is great. I found the staff be very helpful.

We always stay at l'Hotel Hameau de Passy. Always. We've even gotten in same day! (Experiment with hostel went wrong - husband said he saw a fleck of blood on his pillowcase - so we decamped and took the Metro to l'Hotel Hameau and they had a room and saved the trip).

Here's their website: http://www.hameaudepassy.com/en/ The location is ideal: walking distance to the Eiffel Tower in an adorable neighborhood. They get consistently good reviews (not just from me) and the price is right!

JNK I have stayed at Hotel Eugenie too, and yes its a good choice, great location, very central(steps to river and bridge to Notre Dame) . rooms are clean, has good ac and a mini fridge. Rooms can be small, and it is not poshly decorated, but I would use it again myself, though rates seem to be climbing up now that its be coming well known!
