Paris hotel for June 2027

Suggestions for the best Paris hotel in the 6th or 7th arrondissement for first time visitors for under €450 per night. I know rooms are small, hoping for 20 square meter minimum. Travel will be June 2027. THANKS.

We spent a 6 nights at Hotel de Londres Eiffel in March 2026. We were part of a Rick Steves Paris tour. This hotel is about a 3 blocks from the Eiffel Tower and about the same distance from École Militaire Metro Station. The location was the best. The room was perfect. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff was incredible.

We have stayed at Hotel de Londres Eiffel twice. Our first stay was terrific; lovely room; nice amenities; good breakfast was included in the price; attentive staff. Our second stay was extremely disappointing. Our room was in the lower level; virtually no outside light; small even by Paris standards. We requested that they move us to a different room, and that was denied. Breakfast was now an additional charge; choices and quality of breakfast was basic at best. Staff was very disengaged. If you do choose to stay there, I would suggest you be very clear as to where you want your room located, and would have breakfast at an outdoor cafe.

I suggest you go to lesfrenchiestravel.com to review all their Paris info. They have a ton of information there and they sell a Hotel Guide for a very modest $10 reviewing each arrondissement with recommendations. They love St. Germain and the 6th in general. Btw, Les Frenchies also has a very popular Facebook group for continuous information and recommendations from fellow travelers. Have fun!

In the 6th, near the Luxembourg Gardens, perhaps Bonsoir Madame or Hotel la Villa Madame. Both hotels are about a 25 minute walk to Notre Dame, the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay.

In the 7th, near the Seine, is Hotel de l'Universite Saint Germain. You can walk to Museé d'Orsay, Louvre, and Notre Dame in 10-25 minutes.

You'll need to read the room descriptions carefully for bed sizes and shower vs tub setup in addition to square footage.

Be sure to book a room with AC.

I stayed at Hotel Le Regent last September with my son and his wife. I had a small (very small) single and they had a standard double room. There wasn't a lot of extra space in their room but they seemed to manage just fine. The location was excellent. Walkable to Notre Dame, and many other key sites. Just a few minutes walk from the Metro Station. I picked a random day in June 2027 and a Deluxe Double Room, 215 sq feet, lists at $353 a night on Booking.com and a Superior Deluxe Double Room, 237 sq feet, lists at $371 a night. Both of these are well within your budget. I would cheerfully stay at this hotel again on another visit to Paris.

I stayed 4 nights at Hotel Fontaines des Luxembourg , mentioned above, in February.
It was nice and very convenient for getting around.
The room was small and clean, but no fridge in the room.

I then moved to Hotel Abbatial not far away, where I had also stayed the year before.
The staff are just lovely, the place is spotless, ( I saw housekeeping cleaning a vacated room as I passed by one morning….they had the bed up and all the furniture pulled out, cleaning every available corner.
No dust bunnies allowed! )
The breakfast is very good and the location can’t be beat.
I will always return to that hotel when I go to Paris.
Some rooms have tiny balconies….recommended!
