WE (5 adults) need 1 night's accommodation in Paris as we have a flight home the next morning. WE need to be at the airport at 10 am . WE will book 2-3 rooms.
WE will be travelling by train from Beaune or Dijon that day. Our plan is to arrive at Gare de Lyon Station, walk to a hotel and enjoy an evening in that area. We will have already spent time in Paris at the start of our trip, so I do not think we will be interested in touring around Paris on this night.
Do you have recommendation for a hotel within 10-15 minute walk from Gare du Lyon that is also in a safe neighbourhood with a few cafes, wine bars,etc - nothing fancy, just clean and good location.
Perhaps you have another suggestion for staying in a town close CDG ?

with a 10 am flight you need to leave Paris at 6 -- so I'd probably get dinner in Paris and then head for an airport hotel

Our flight actually leaves CDG at 1 pm so i was planning to arrive there at 10 am. It is on a Thursday in October.

I have stayed several times for my last night in Paris on the island where the Noter Dame is located, in the hospital. There are rooms on the seventh floor, much like a hotel 6 but you tell them what time you want coffee/breakfast delivered and that is exactly what time you will hear a knock on your door. The train RER to the airport is just outside the front door the ride is 20 minutes. Hotel Due. Have a wonderful trip J.
