Paris - hidden streets to visit near Champs Elysees

Hi All , We will be in the Champs Elysees area and wondering if anyone knows any nice streets to visit in the area besides the giant big name stores.
I see most of the must visit streets on other side of the city.

Thanks!!

Start at the back side of the Arc de Triomphe and either walk to the Seine or in the other direction.
Most of these streets are large boulevards lined with trees.
Not too much in the way of cafes or restaurants, though, and they will be expensive. Also long stretches if you need a toilet.

Walk downhill from the Arc d'Triumph on Avenue Wagram about 3 blocks until you get to Place des Ternes. Make a left on Avenue des Ternes, then take your 1st right on Rue Poncelet. That's a market street, with several dozen vendors of all kind of food and a couple of nice cafes. There are several cafes on Avenue des Ternes also. There's a very nice brasserie called "Les Champs" at the corner of Avenue des Ternes and Avenue McMahon. I've had lunch there several times and always liked it. And you can walk back up Avenue McMahon right back to the Arc.
