We are considering 4-5 days in Paris and on to Giverny, Loire valley and back to Paris. Will Paris still be a bad idea in early September this year due to Olympics?

The Paralympics will be held Aug 28-Sept 8, if that helps with your planning.

I have read several times on this forum that Paris hotel rates are highest in September, which must mean the city is extremely busy then even without the Olymoics.
