We will occasionally need car transit while in Paris (our trip is before Olympics). Anyone with experience in using the G7 taxi app versus Uber?
Secondly, what is best public transit app to use in Paris? Bonjour RATP? Citymapper?

I use both Uber and G7 but mostly G7 because taxis have access to the bus lanes and Ubers do not and taxis are not subject to surge pricing. Yes, taxis get stuck in traffic sometimes but I find surge pricing to be awful. The RATP app tells you which car of the train is best for your journey but it glitches on my phone and iPad and that never happens with CityMapper on my devices. I find CityMapper slightly more user friendly and I use both but if I had to use only one, I think I would choose CityMapper because it does not freeze on my devices.
