Any adventures you would recommend in early December 2018? My husband and I were there 20 years ago and LOVED it! We would like suggestions on reasonable shopping and top 2 museums. Thank you in advance!

Do you like impressionist art? Marmatton Museum, Orangerie, top floor of Musee d'Orsay.
Unless it's raining, bundle up and take a Seine cruise (I'm partial to Vedettes de Pont Neuf) Walk along the Seine at night. Look for a Christmas market -- we went to one at La Defense last year, but there are many locations. See the ceiling and Christmas decorations at Galleries Lafayette.
Prepare for rain and cold, then enjoy just being in Paris!
