Headed to Paris in 3 weeks flying from Reno NV through San Francisco 4 hour lay over. Get into Paris and 10:30AM local time, staying in the Latin Quarter. Looking for itinerary ideas and wondering if The Paris Pass is worth it? Arrival day is a 1/2 day and then 2 full days Fly out on the 4th day at 12:00 noon to Frankfurt for a river cruise on Danube 8 days. A couple of days in Budapest and then Rick Steve's Best of Venice, Florence and Rome 10 days.
Trip of a life time but don't want to wear ourselves out the first 3 days. Thanks Jim
Highly unlikely that the Paris Pass would be a value. It never was precovid; no reason to think that has changed. The 48 hr Paris Museum Pass MIGHT be of value, depending on how many of their covered sites you want to see. You would have to add up the jndividual costs and then compare.
Without knowing what interests you have, it would be difficult to suggest an itinerary. As a start, you might look at the Paris section of the Explore Europe section on this website. https://www.ricksteves.com/europe/france/paris
And perhaps get a copy of the Paris guidebook from your library. See what most tickles your fancy.
The Paris Pass is not a pass just a collection of stuff that if you want to do it, you can buy it -- and very expensive. You probably don't need or want a museum pass, the Visite transport pass is very overpriced (and is one of the reasons the PP is so expensive -- and the 3 zone pass won't get you in from the airport.
Take a cab to your hotel; get Navigo Easy passes to load 10 local metro/bus tickets while you are there. Reserve museum times and tickets on your phone for the things you want to do.
