Paris Family Hotel- Eiffel Tower

We are going to Paris in summer of 2026 and starting to plan. We fly into London, take the train to Paris and will stay either 1-2 nights in Paris. Our main priority is to see the Eiffel Tower and be able to walk around (perhaps see other sites) a bit and eat some good food. We are on a budget as it is with our 10 and 13 year old as we are heading to Germany via train out of Paris for the large duration of our trip to see my family. Despite having grown up spending each summer in Germany from birth until age 14, I have never been to Paris and it's a bucket list place for both of my children so we are adding it in! We will be jet lagged, I don't expect miracles on how much we will see. But the Eiffel Tower is the priority. Thank you for your help! Need a private bathroom please. $350 per night or less if possible.

Definitely you need 2 nights in Paris (for one full day of sightseeing). Your first day is mostly taken up with getting there from London, checking into lodgings, etc. You can see the Eiffel Tower that day, though, and depending on your arrival time you could take a boat ride on the Seine which gives you nice views of the sights along the river. (Most take about one hour and start and return at the same location.) Vedettes de Pont Neuf is what I prefer. Price is about 15 euros per person. The next day you can jam pack (or not) other things you wish to see (I opt for Ste. Chapelle, the Orsay museum, Opera Garnier, the bookstalls along the Seine, Notre Dame cathedral, Napoleon's tomb, cafe sitting, just strolling.......you can see it will be hard to whittle down what you can do or see in just one day).
Have a wonderful trip!

As far as a place to stay, I have stayed in Paris many times and have stayed at the Les Jardins d'Eiffel hotel 3 times now. The hotel is very close to the Eiffel tower and reasonably priced. The rooms are nice and spacious (for Paris) with private bathrooms. The air conditioner always worked well. Enjoy.

Yikes. June is an expensive time in Paris. I jumped on to booking.com just to check rates using this June for rooms around the Tower and was hard pressed to find anything in your price range for 4 people. We love staying around the Tower, and really enjoy spending the evenings out in the grassy area watching with loads of other people watching the Tower sparkle at night, and just enjoying the outdoors. You might check out Hotel Tourisme Avenue which is on the backside of Champs de Mars. It has in the past been pretty reasonably priced, and of course, booking early will save you $$$. Not sure if their bookings are open yet for 2026, but you will need to book somewhere early to get a better rate. Another place near the Tower is Hotel Beaugency off of Rue Cler and a 5 minute walk to the Tower. These aren't fancy by any means, but they are clean, comfortable, and well run. Hotel Jardins d'Eiffel and Hotel du Champs de Mars is another. There are a ton of great options, but many during the summer will charge more. Get on booking.com and start checking prices and locations. You can either book with booking or directly through the hotel for probably a better rate.
