Looking for a recommendation for a dinner cruise on the Seine; considering Calife but want to see what else is available. Thx, Jim S.
Go to YouTube and click on the Les Frenchie. They have done a couple of food cruises on the Seine. I wish Rick would get with the times and allow video or pictures.
We just got back and went on Le Calife. The service was excellent, dinner was delicious, and the location was convenient to where we were staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres. That was actually a big consideration for us as we didn’t want to have to navigate back to our hotel from the Eiffel Tower are at almost 11:00.
Gourmet foodie friends just did the Ducasse. All the elegance of a Ducasse restaurant while floating through Paris.
Not for penny pinchers.
All the cruises Tocard listed cook on board. Ducasse and Donjuan are starred chefs.
Calife actually cooks the meal on the boat. Other cruises heat the meals since they are prepared off ship. Enjoy.
Curious if anyone has ever done this as a solo diner?
