Paris Cooking class recomendations

Hi, We are going to Paris in March and would like to book a cooking class for the family to enjoy. Any suggestions or good experience with a particular school or class? Anything we should look to avoid?

I like La Cuisine Paris right on the Seine in the 4th. My Airbnb host took me to another one at Atelier des Chefs but it was in French. The chef did speak Spanish too so I could communicate, and my multi-lingual host also translated.

DH and I are going to a croissant class at La Cuisine Paris in May. We've never been, but it was recommended to me. I looked them up on Trip Advisor and they have 5 stars. So although I can't actually recommend them yet, I've read good things.

I've done the dinner class at Cookin' with Class and the morning market/lunch class with La Cuisine Paris and can recommend both, though I think the later is in a more convenient/central location. Both are in English and hands-on. Their websites have full details on their offerings.

When you say "family", do you mean all adults, or do you have teens and children? There are age limits in most classes and very few children's classes.

Good question wwd. @ Summer, Cook 'n Class does not accept children under age 12 except for in their children's classes which are specifically for children and adults do not participate though an adult has to stay for the entire class. It is going to be tough to find a class that will take a 7 or a 9 year old in a family class. La Cuisine only takes children under 13 in certain specific situations. Does the class have to be in English?

Yes, English is a must. I am looking into a private class, but it is quite expensive.

I highly recommend La Cuisine. My sister, niece and I took two classes there in 2015. We enjoyed the entertaining and educational instructors, the classes - we still use a few of the skills learned, and the opportunity to talk with other travelers while learning to bake savory tarts and macarons. Depending upon the day your group may enjoy a market tour with La Cuisine.
