Paris- Conciergerie

Hi all - will be in Paris this weekend and I stupidly waited too long to book tickets for Sainte Chapelle and had to go thru a booking company and pay more.

I assumed Conciergerie was just walk up, but is it recommended to book a slot in advance? I'd rather not be tied to a certain time.

You can enter the Conciergerie whenever you want with your timed ticket to Sainte Chapelle, e.g., if your ticket to SC is at 10 a.m., you could go straight to the C. or after you've viewed SC. It's not explained well on the website but is very easy.

When we visited the Conciergerie in May 2022, we just walked up and bought our tickets.

We just walked up when we visited in Oct 2023. Wishing you good luck next week!

Hard to say for sure but when we were there just last month we walked right in. Crowds might be larger this month. I doubt it’ll be packed.
