My son and I will be in Paris for a few days before our RS Paris and the Heart of France tour in September. I am considering taking a Paris City Vision minivan day tour to the Somme battlefields. Reviews of this company's tours are mostly either outstanding or of the "I wish I could give them negative stars" variety. We would be taking a small-group tour that picks us up at our hotel (thus avoiding many of the complaints associated with the big buses). Does anyone have experience with their tours? Or with this tour in particular?

I have used their big bus tours twice, once for Brugges and once for Mont St Michael.
Long bus days and pricier rhan doing it yourself.
They are fine if you understand what a big bus tour is going to be like.
We had enough time at both places to satsify us.
It is a reputable company and i am sure the mini van tours are a better choice if one can afford them.

I've done several of their mini-van tours, although not that one, and found them great and well-worth the cost since I didn't have an alternative at the time. The mini-van tours are great because you can actually ask questions and can hear the answers!
