Going to be around a couple of days in and around Paris for 1 week. One thing that looks really interesting that I would want to do is a tour in the catacombs. So I wanted to ask if anyone has ever done the catacombs and where the best place is to go online to buy tour tickets where I could skip the line? Any info would be greatly appreciated

You can get advance tickets on the official website - but at an inflated price.

Or arrive early in the day to avoid the longest lines. I live nearby and have seen very long lines the past few days.
I can't imagine wanting or needing a tour.

There are tours that promise that you can skip the line - but I wouldn't put much faith in them.
In fact, there are only a certain number of people (200) allowed in at each time. They must all leave before anyone else can go inside, for safety reasons.
So it's possible that your group will have to wait before you can all go in together.
