Paris Catacombs Ticket Prices

I am trying to purchase 3 adult tickets for next month. It looks like the only options it's giving me is under 18 for 5 euro or full adult price of 29 euro which includes the audio guide, which I don't want. I just want adult admission which I thought was around 15 euro. Has anyone purchased tickets online recently and encountered this? Thanks!

When i purchased last year online, those were the only two options. I believe the 15 euro price is available only in person, waiting in the long line. If those are you only options, it is worth it to pay more and skip the line. (plus the audio guide does give pretty good context for what you are seeing/experiencing).

You pay double to skip the line; the audio is not optional when you do that. So either wait perhaps for hours or buy in advance. You might be lucky but the last time I walked through this area in late October the lines stretched for blocks.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the Paris Catacombs mid May this year. We arrived by 9a on a Friday morning and were it not for the unplanned and unannounced (on the website) closure due to a brief strike action, we would have been first in line at the ticket window for the 10a opening. We returned Sunday morning (website was updated to indicate site was closed Saturday) at the same time, saw no one there, walked to purchase water nearby and when we got back to the entrance, there were 2 other people waiting. By the time ticket office opened, both the line for tickets as well as the prepaid-skip-the-line queue were considerable. We waited no more than 10 minutes for the early entry folks to step forward when the Catacombs officially opened and allowed to buy our tickets and the highly advised audio guide. With the short lag time for entering, we were not bunched in with many others and ease of use of the audio guide (stop and start at your preference and pace) nicely enhanced our visit. Have a wanderful time in Paris!! ;-)

Hi nikki, you will get varying responses on this but, based on my experience, get there very early. We arrived an hour before opening and were among the first people in line. At opening time there were about 600 people in line behind us. They took a few people from the regular line, then a few people from the line that had pre-purchased tickets. It took us 2 minutes to buy tickets. We did not get the audio guide. We did not think there was any advantage for those who pre-purchased tickets.
