Paris by Mouth tours

Hello,
My husband and I will be traveling to Paris in June 2024 with another couple. We are taking a river cruise but will be in Paris 4 days prior. Does anyone know anything about the Paris by mouth tour? Any other foodie tours you would recommend? This is our first time in Paris.

I took a Paris by mouth tour about 10 years ago. It was just ok. I did not think the particular guide I had was very knowledgeable; she was a young American who had recently moved to Paris. Lots of people seem to rave about their tours so maybe they have improved and found better guides.

I would highly recommend the cooking classes at Cook’n with Class. I’ve taken about 6 of them and all have been great. In particular, the market class is excellent. You go to a number of shops (e.g., fromagerie, butcher, fishmonger, etc.) to buy the ingredients for your meal. You then prepare a 3 course meal. I learned a lot more visiting the market and shops with a chef than I did with the Paris by Mouth guide.

We have taken three different Paris by Mouth food tours and enjoyed them. The guides are knowledgeable food professionals who know their stuff and how to present it to a varied group. Other participants were congenial, and we learned a lot. We recommend Paris by Mouth without reservation. After the tour, the guides sent us a detailed list of places we visited and food and wine we had tasted.

I am in France now and did a Paris by Mouth tour this past week. It was my second. I really enjoyed the tour and the time they spent with me. I recommend them.
Also did a free Paris Greeters tour. Highly recommend them if you can book. The woman who gave my tour was a retired teacher and she was wonderful. They only ask for a donation after your tour, which I gladly provided.

Well, I cannot speak to Paris by Mouth tour, but we were in Paris last year for a month. Within the first few days, we had booked a Bus Toque by Night tour. https://bustoque.fr/
Although we had been to Paris previously, this truly oriented us and went by beautiful sights at night including time at the Eiffel Tower on the hour to enjoy the sparkle and magic! PLUS the food was outstanding! You are up on the second level, with the kitchen on the lower level. The table is just beautiful and you are given information of the sights as they approach and pass. We did the wine package with the meal. We LOVED this and would do again!
