So I posted a couple of times recently that we were very disappointed last year with our secret Paris food tour. This time I did a Paris by mouth tour. We did the cheese tour
I would say is this was 100%, maybe 1000%, better than the secret Paris tour. The guide was knowledgeable. The amount of cheese we got to taste was unbelievable. The wines were decent, everything about this was great.
Now this tour does not walk around the city much. It has you go to one cheese shop where the guide talks about cheeses (she had already purchased our cheese). And then you go to a wine store where you have a wine and cheese tasting.
The guide was very knowledgeable about cheese. And you realize the reason she picks it out in advance is because she has quizzed the staff at the shop on the age of the cheeses, if they’re ready to eat, etc. etc. It was really really a great experience. I will be doing another one of their tours when I come back.
Just a note in the description it keeps telling you there stairs. There are no stairs anymore. This tour would be very easy for someone who has mobility issues.
