Hi all:
I am going to be in Paris with my daughter on her 25th birthday. Her birthday happens to be on Bastille Day. Any suggestions for a memorable dinner location?

Depends on how much of a splurge you want. A lovely traditional French restaurant in a pleasant neighborhood (Latin Quarter) is Le Volcan. It is not terribly fancy, nor terribly hip. Just fine food & wine in the French tradition.

I am not sure about any possible restaurant closings for the Bastille Day holiday.

Another vote for Ciel de Paris. We had a birthday dinner there. It is at the top of the Montparnasse Tower with wonderful views of all of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower, plus the sunset. You can make reservations online and their menu is posted on their website. The food is actually pretty good,too.
