Rick recommends Alcove and Agapes for Paris B&Bs but it looks like their website is down. Anyone else trying to access it? Any other B&B locations or sites for booking B&Bs? Thanks!

You could look at booking.com and select 'bed and breakfast' as property type. They do list some b&bs there. If it doesn't have to be a b&b you could select for 'breakfast included' and 'private bathroom' under hotel amenities.
You could also look at VRBO and Airbnb - just be sure they have the 13 digit registration number to show that they are legal rentals.
I found nice small hotels/inns on booking.com when I was reserving places in France (and other countries).
