Looking to rent an apartment in Paris for a 2 week vacation preferably near Rue Cler or in the Latin Qtr or Marais neighborhoods, although open to others. Could someone recommend a reliable rental company to deal with? Thanks, Jim S., Chicago

Depending on your budget, either Guest Apartments or Vacation In Paris.
GA is upscale and a bit more expensive, but lovely apartments.
VIP has perfectly adequate apartments, not as elegant, but less expensive.

We have used VacationInParis.com several times and have always been pleased. They are well organized and their staff has either stayed in the Paris apartments or taken a look at them, so they can give accurate assistance to help you find the right apartment. On two occasions when we thought we picked a good place, they suggested something more suitable.

Can you give your budget limitations and dates or months? How many people and any requirements (e.g. elevators, AC, number of bedrooms)? Time of year will affect prices also.

Also, I know the Rue Cler area is big with RS and his fans, but to me it is not as close to as many sights. The Eiffel Tower, yes. Notre Dame, D'Orsay, Louvre, no. IMO the Latin Quarter or the Marais are within walking distance of more things to see, but this is Paris! Almost anywhere is fine! Best of luck!
