Paris Apartments

Does anyone have any recommendations for an agency/service that rents apartments in Paris. For 2-3 months.
Thank you!

Look at ParisPerfect. I have no idea if they offer such a long length of time. We have rented apartments from them in Paris and London for a couple of weeks at a time.

Why you want an apartment can make a difference, particularly if you are renting for a purpose other than tourism. If you are renting as a tourist, make sure that any on line offering displays the government required, 13 digit registration number, beginning with 75. The largest number of legal apartments will be offered on VRBO, Airbnb, etc., which will also have the largest number of illegal apartments. Due to the unprecedented demand this year, there are a lot of apartment rental cancellations by owners either being shut down by city inspectors or those wanting to maximize their returns by re-renting their apartments at higher rates.

If you are not a tourist, contact any real estate office located in the area you prefer to rent and ask for a "mobility lease" or "bail mobilité". These are a special class of short term rentals that have advantages and are not subject to the limitation of short term rental laws.

Yeah, make sure it displays the 13 digit code starting with 75. And that will prove to you that whoever listed the apartment knew how to make up a 13 digit code starting to 75. There’s no way for you or I to tell it’s a legitimate number, or any other information about whether the rental has exceeded its allowable days in the current year. I don’t even look for anymore. I just try to use reputable agencies. Unfortunately, the ones I know do not have long-term rentals like that. Good luck.

We are using Paris vacation apartments https://www.parisvacationapartments.com. Their apartments have rave reviews, excellent location and fabulous service. We leave Feb 13-28, 2024 and can let you know the experience. They are directly across from the Louve. They have numerous apartments and we are staying right in the Palias Royal.

While that is true, city inspectors do check listed registration numbers. I should think that the 50,000€ fine for illegally renting an apartment short term is sufficient deterrent without adding fraud exposure to potential enforcement action.
