Paris apartment rental and registration numbers

I am planning to spend the month of June in Paris next year (women's soccer World Cup) & just scoured AirBnB and another small company's site (which I have rented an apartment from in the past) & not one of the many apartments I looked at did I see the now-mandatory registration number indicating the apartment is legitimate. Did I just miss it or is it buried somewhere in the apartment description? Or should I be wary of any apartment that does not show a registration number? Obviously I don't want to get to Paris for a month & find I don't have a place to stay. Anyone with updated info on this issue or know of apartment rental sites with registration numbers attached? Thanks!

I think that the current situation is well known, apartments without registration numbers are illegal. The city is making every effort to enforce the laws; Airbnb is very content to ignore them. The situation is working its way through the courts but ultimately, the safest course of action would be to adhere to the current laws and rent a registered, legal apartment.

I have been told that Booking.com lists only apartments with registration numbers. You might want to look there. You don’t say what your budget is but both ParisPerfect and Guest Apartment Services, agencies at the higher end of the budget spectrum, have some listings with registration numbers. On AirBnb, have you been opening up the link that says “Read more about this space?” If the apartment has a registration number, it will be found there but note that I just did a search on AirBnb and looked at the first five places and only one had a registration number.
