Paris apartment location for family

Hi! We’ll be in Paris for 5 night mid-August with 2 kids (8y, 5y) - trying to decide the best neighborhood to stay.

We arrive at Gare de Lyon or Châtelet–Les Halles (from Disneyland Paris), depart from Gare du Nord, and have day trips planned with morning departures from St Lazare and Pont Marie.

Was looking at Le Marais, 3 Arr., or 5th Arr for walkability to some of these places. Also found a nice apartment in Bastille?

Any recommendations for target areas - kid-friendly, with a great market for local foods, a little quieter neighborhood feel, walkable for little legs?

Neighborhood isn't nearly as important as access to the metro. I look for an apartment that has a grocery store and metro access within a few minutes walk. It's super easy to get around. You probably won't be spending much time in the apartments neighborhood so it's location is not as important as making sure that it meets your needs. The Bastille is a nice area...lot's of places to eat but you have many other options.
