We are traveling with another couple (close friends) and we are wondering… are there options for staying together rather than two separate hotel rooms for such a short stay (5 nights in Paris. Four in London.) We would each want our own bedroom and bathroom to make it work.
We do VRBO a LOT in the USA, but have seen warnings about AirBnB in Europe. Is that our only option? I think I know the answer, but it’s worth asking.
VRBO and AirBnB are not your only options; there are a number of vacation rental agencies. You do not say your budget but Paris Perfect, Haven in Paris, and Guest Apartment Services are very good and should have some properties with two bathrooms. They are at the higher end of the budget. The second bathroom might make the search a bit more difficult and so might the fact that you probably want the second bedroom to have the same type of bed as the first. A lot of times when I have seen two bedroom rentals one room has a bed for a couple and the other is set up for children with two single beds.
In case you are not aware of it, i will mention that some Paris apartments have the toilet in a separate room and so you may think that there are two bathrooms when in fact there is only one that has been split into two rooms.
