Can anyone who has taken the Paris and the Heart of France tour recently give me any hints as to when we might be able to access a launderette? It looks like Amboise might be our best and only chance.

I took this tour too long ago to give you accurate current information. I can tell you that every RS tour I have been on has a laundry opportunity somewhere along the tour. Sometimes it is the hotel that will give a "deal" and sometimes the guide just points out a nearby launderette. Looks at the places where you spend at least two nights. These are the higher probability locations.

I agree with Carol although my Paris and HOF tour was long ago. I'm sure people did laundry on the free afternoon in Amboise.
This is a good question to ask at your initial meet up with your guide if they don't mention it.
