Paris airport to our hotel which is close to the Eiffel towers.

We are a small group of 12 travellers.. looking to book our shuttle from the Paris airport ( CDG ) to our hotel stay.

Any suggestions.. or good experiences with a good taxi/shuttle service company ? We are all new to Paris !

Just not wanting to get scammed at the airport.

Thanks

Take two cabs; you won't have to worry about a shuttle showing up. It will cost each group of 6 58 Euro to the right bank or 63 to the left bank. No tip required. The Eiffel Tower is on the left bank but a 'nearby hotel' might be across the river. But probably 63 for each group of 6. There are cabs at the airport that accommodate 7 people and the dispatcher at the head of the official queue will match you up with appropriate vehicles. Just be sure to use the official queue and ignore anyone asking if you want a taxi or directing you away from the queue to the 'right queue just over there.'

Thanks for your info..

Good to know.. that they can accommodate 6 of us at a time. Perfect.

Thanks again

FWIW. 50 Euro to right bank for 4 and luggage; 55 to left bank for same (probably where your hotel is). It is 4 Euro for each additional passenger above 4.

You could also easily take 3 cabs, 4 people in each

The main advise to pay close attention to from above is the mention of the official taxi line. If you join that you will not get scammed and will pay a flat rate. The airport is not close and there is often traffic, the flat rates seems a bargain to me compared to what I could only imagine a running meter total.

The meter can be more (be sure the flat rate is on the meter when you start from CDG and no add on fees) but we routinely paid less. When we stayed in the 17th or 18th, I don't think we ever paid more than 45 Euro to an apartment from the airport.
