Paris 7 total; 3 Seniors 2 kids

Hello everyone,

Looking for suggestions on hotels in Paris. We’ve all traveled together to Europe before (Rome and Barcelona). We are 7 total (usually book 3 rooms total) 3 70+ adults and two kids 14 and 9. Looking for rooms under $400 USD a night; walkable to most attractions (but we aren’t afraid to walk aimlessly to explore); AC would be great (we can work with fans) and breakfast included. Any tips would be great! Thank you so much!

hey hey mireya2415
when is this trip & how many days/nights? any amenities you need & want, mobility issues (stairs/steps, lifts, uneven streets, paris is expensive like many other big cities, attractions not all close together), look for a family room, sofa bed may not suit someone, short/small with legs hanging over. more info to help you better. good luck

Aloha :)

Thank you for the feedback. It made me realize, yes, we would like an elevator. We are planning on going in March 2026. We really have no preference on area and are totally up for suggestions. Thank you so much!

$400/nt per room, or $400/nt for all three rooms? Big difference!

If $400 for all three rooms, would you consider a family room (with private bath) in a hostel? Paris is so expensive.

Would you consider an apartment or a suite hotel? If your budget constraints are
firm, having an apartment can save you $$$ by allowing dining for some meals,
which you can then spend on the lodging itself.

Oh! Thank you. It would be under $400 for each room. The teen can stay with one grandmother; a widow.

The other two grandparents snore HEAVY; like penetrates through the walls. I’ve found that three rooms; makes it comfortable for everyone lol

hey hey mireya2415
please clarify: you say 3 70+ adults and 2 kids which is 5 people, then say 7 people total. which is it?
what are dates? since march and april are spring break time and easter is april 5 which is busy and prices go up higher. great to be booking early, if you find a place do email direct to place or call to confirm it. (know time difference)

I read it as two parents, two kids and 3 grands.

So a room for 3 for the parents and one kid and two rooms for 2.

HI there,
Check Best Western Faubourg 88 (https://www.hotel-faubourg88.com/). It's small and has a few rooms that open onto an interior courtyard on ground level. It's on the edge of Montmarte, steps from a Metro station and 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord. Lots of restaurants nearby. Should be in your price range. I really liked it.
cheers

I recently stayed at the Citidines Les Halles with two adult sisters. We rented the deluxe one-bedroom apartment and it was perfect for us for 6 nights. Two slept in the large bed in the bedroom and the other slept on the sofa bed (which actually made up to 2 separate twin beds). It had a full kitchen, sink, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. The building also has a laundry. With your combination of family units you might find what you need that offers a gathering space with sofa, table+chairs as well as privacy. The hotel is recently renovated and was very clean and modern. Bonus points for the coffee machine in the lobby which provided cappuccino 24/7. It’s also close to the huge metro/RER station. We easily walked to Notre Dame, very good location. I plan to return in March.
