Paris - 6th arrid.

Hello All,
It has been a long time since I have been to Paris.... and now I am bringing a 12 year old with me for his first time. I have stayed numerous times in 6th Arrid. and loved it. Do not remember the hotel names so starting from scratch.

Any hotels that come highly recommended? I know some of the rooms can be quite tiny looking for rooms a little bit of space.

Thank You!
edited to add budget - ideally under $350 /night

Specific hotel recommendations require your providing a budget window in euros.

However, I am sure you would like the Relais Christine.

As Tocard says, specific suggestions require a budget window. I too think you would like Relais Christine. I also like Hotel d'Aubusson, Relais Saint Germain, Hotel Signature Saint Germain, Hotel Odeon Saint Germain, and L'Hotel.

Take a look at Hotel Clement. I stayed there last year with a friend. The suite has a separate twin bedroom that your son might enjoy. Close to walk anywhere and very close to Metro.

Thanks, that's around 312€ per night. Some of my suggestions will be more than that even during low season. Rates do change so you may be able to get a room at Hotel d'Aubusson at that rate and definitely should be able to get one at Hotel Signature Saint Germain and Hotel Odeon Saint Germain. A hotel that I find rather cute for a mother-daughter trip is Hotel & Spa La Belle Juliette. It's in the 6th but not in the tourist central part of the 6th -- same is true location wise for the Signature Saint Germain.

Hotel & Spa La Belle Juliette is a gem that is seldom mentioned. Others you might consider are Hotel la Villa Madam, Hôtel de l´Abbaye, or Hôtel Madisson. These hotels are just outside of the well-worn tourist paths of the 6eme arrondissement though they are within the 6eme.

If you want to remain within the areas most frequented by US tourists, basically that north of blvd St Germain, perform an internet search for hotels on rue Jacob. Most are very nice and within your stated budget.

How long are you staying in Paris? I ask as it may be an option to rent an apartment which would be more spacious than hotel room and probably cheaper too
