Is a tour of the Pantheon included in the Paris and Heart of France tour (during the tour of the Latin Quarter) or do I need to get tickets ahead of time?
It’s been a number of years (pre-Covid) since I did this tour and our Latin Quarter tour did not get further south than a few blocks in from the Seine.
TBH I can’t imagine a tour of the Pantheon as it’s pretty easy to do on your own. This is not a venue that sells out or that you’d need to book ahead, so just head there when you have time.
If you’re a Midnight in Paris fan, the church where Gil was picked up by the time traveling taxi is just to the left behind the Pantheon. The church of Saint-Etienne-du-Mont is also very interesting inside!
If your up for a climb, the view from the Panorama level of the Pantheon is spectacular.
The tour does not go there, but the last time we were in Paris, we just showed up. No crowds at all, we had all the time we wanted, and more.
And there are some great cafes where you can have
lunch and study the building and all the tourists in the square!
