Pantheon Closure

I tried to book the Pantheon for our trip in October and our dates were blocked out. I messaged them directly and received this response below:

Thank you for your interest in national monuments.
In response to your request, we would like to inform you that, due to the enshrinement of Robert Badinter, the Panthéon will be closed from September 29 to October 10, 2025, and will then be free to all from October 11 to 13, 2025.
Therefore, the online sales site is not accepting reservations for this event.

FYI. Hopefully we will be able to visit it on another trip to Paris.

My thanks as well! That's always a back up place for me if the weather is not good for the Luxembourg Gardens!

IF you want another site nearby to sub in, the Church of Saint-Etienne-du-Mont is the site where the time traveling taxi picked up Gil in Midnight in Paris, lol. Not a Woody Allen or Owen Wilson fan but love this movie! It's also got a shrine to Saint Genevieve, the patron saint of Paris and a beautiful carved rood screen at the altar from about 1530! One of the few not destroyed thru the years.

You’re welcome! I wanted to go up for the panoramic view and was planning ahead for those tickets. Glad I checked out the website so I could rearrange our plans to something else for that afternoon.
