Paddle Boarding in Paris?

Going to Paris for the first time and most excited! One thing I would love to do is paddle board. Does any one know if there is a location either in Paris or near by to paddle board?

Well Paris is land locked , and the part of the Seine that goes through the city is so gross I think I would vomit if I fell in the water,( although it has improved )..I think this may be a challenge.
The river is busy with boat traffic within city too..perhaps somewhere outside though, I suggest you post this on the TripAdvisor.com Paris forums. They have locals on it that may be better help.

I know this isn't the same thing, but you can rent canoes and paddle them in the lake in the Bois du Boulogne.

Do you mean Paris, in France?

There are quite a few other places called Paris in the world, maybe one of them would fit your needs.

Nice, on the Cote d'Azur, is only 5 hours away by fast train. It may meet your needs.

Newquay in Cornwall may be much better but although physically closer to Paris would take an absolute age to reach.

There may be locations on the Marne where you can do this. When we were in Champigny we passed what looked like a public park with kayaks and canoes that people were using on the river -- didn't see paddle boards but those have become a recent fad and it is always possible that they have added them.

I know that once yearly the SUP international tour races in the Seine but I think that is a one-time thing. I've never seen paddleboarders on the river at any other time.
