Does any one know of any companies in the U.S. or in Paris that will rent a concentrator unit to be used while staying in an apartment in Paris? I am on oxygen 24/7. I think I need to stationary unit like the one I have at home. I am not sure if the Inogen G3 is something that should be used for sleeping or if I need a stationary concentrator. This is getting more complicated as I try to figure it out. Thank you for any advice you may have.
You probably should talk to your doctor to determine exactly what you need. They might be able to offer suggestions about how to provide for that while you are gone.
Unfortunately, doctor has not knowledge of rental places in France. Thanks for the advice, though.
There is a group that provides connections to English-speaking physicians and medical services for travelers. You might check their website: www.iamat.org
Also, there is an association of physicians who specialize in travel medicine. That's probably a less likely source of information, but it may be worth finding out if anyone in your area specializes in travel medicine.
And as one other possible resource – you could check with the companies that manufacture the equipment. They would know if they're licensed to sell in France, and if so, who the vendors are in Paris.
isue-a Google search for oxygen concentrator rental Paris France brings up a couple of possibilities, see below. As Nancy points out you may want to ask your physician for assistance.

This is the part I was suggesting you ask your doctor about, since you don't appear to be sure what you need. You asked if there is a company in the US that might rent also, so I hope you can find answers at some of the places mentioned by other posters.
