Looking for hotel or VRBO suggestions:
1. We will be arriving late on Eurostar from London and looking for a nice place fairly close.
2. Also departing a week later on an early morning international flight from Paris and looking for a nice place near airport.

We liked Hotel Whistler for a quick walk to Gare du Nord and the Eurostar. We also chose it for the 30 minute, straight ride to the airport on the RER.

Assuming you are leaving from Charles de Gaulle I'd suggest staying somewhere close to Gare du Nord or an RER station.
