We wanted to share our thoughts about our experience with the Overlord tour company on our trip to Normandy in March. Jack Robert was our guide for a day long tour of the areas including Utah and Omaha beaches. He was extremely well informed about the history and anecdotal stories surrounding the sites we visited. We opted for a private tour and enjoyed the personal experience of taking things at our own pace. There's no way we could have appreciated these sites any where near as well as we did with this young, knowledgeable and enthusiastic man. We highly recommend the experience to anyone who has limited time and a deep interest in the history of the events of DDay.
