Looking for great Restaurants ( not tourist traps ) outside Nice. And cool coffee bars money isn’t a problem

In general, I liked the restaurants in Antibes beter than Nice or Mention. I didn't go to St Tropez but I did go to Frejus not far away. It's really the same situation in all these places - it's very hard to get the right balance of good food. I have had the best luck not going to a city center or near a river or beach - instead small hole in the wall places - but ones which look refined and dignified. No plastic menu with photos.
